i am 16 years of age, and i am overweight, i have a hair dresser who has lost 3 stone on the slim world, red day green day diet. However i do not understand it, i hard there was a book a diet plan etc
can someone please tell me what the book is, where to get the diet plan, and what the diet actually is. thankyou (:
Basically, both days consist of free foods – i.e. foods that you can eat in unlimited quantities.
Green days allow unlimited pasta/rice/potatoes, but limit your meat intake, whereas Red days, you can have unlimited lean meat, but you have to limit your potatoes/pasta/rice intake.
Most fruit/veg is free all the time, therefore encouraging healthy eating/snacks etc.
You also get 1-2 Healthy Extra A choices (which is dairy – i.e. 1/4 pint semi-skimmed milk/57g cheese) and 1-2 Healthy Extra B choices (bread/pulses – i.e. 2 slices wholemeal bread (from 400g loaf)).
To be honest, you’d probably be best to go along to a meeting or two – I went for the first few meetings, just to get my head around it (it might sound quite straight forward, but takes a bit of getting used to). They will give you the books, that contain all of the information that you need to understand the plan.
Failing that, you might be able to pick up a starter pack from e-bay.

Also, you are allowed 15 syns for the day (any food that is not free, has a syn value).
The magazine usually has a trial menu in it as well, so you can get more recipes/meal ideas from there.

YOu have to join a slimmingworld group to get the book and diet plans. The diets are based around free foods which you can eat as much as you want.healthy extras which you are restricted to 2 from each of 2 catogories, and then syns which are restricted to between 5 and 15. The plans are basically healthy eating and really do work if you keep to them.I joined slimmimgworld 8 weeks ago and have lost my first stone.

Go to a Slimming World meeting and you will get 2 books. The red one is meals with meat etc in it. The Green book is vegetarian. You can not mix food from each book on the same day so one day it can be food from the red book next it can be food from the green book.
Or you can just stick to food from one book.

I did many different program to lose my weight, but nothing worked untill I got this amazing program. It works fast and I lost my weight easy after I got correct program.
