Must be debatable, like vegs against meats, america’s diet.. something interesting!!! what do you like? something enjoyable! Please list titles and describe a little about them and maybe what you liked about it. nothing boring i hope.
As of 01-01-07, I began a strict Kosher only diet. I researched how a Kosher priest cuts the fat as he blesses the food. I’m not sure if he is cutting fatty chunks off the meat or removing the fat out of eggs. Regardless, does the Kosher priest not realize he could be the next icon in the weight loss business? Not to mention make billions of dollars by publishing a Kosher weight loss book. Does anyone know exactly what he does to reduce the fat & calorie content in the food he blesses?

I am just getting into the raw food diet.
I read several books and just realized that it is veganism also.
I would like to know if yogurt is okay to eat. i want to keep eating it if it is okay. I make my own yogurt with organic milk which is non-raw. I read some non-raw food is okay to eat since the benefit of eating it is greater than not eating it.
The diet is not a “scam” as there are many success stories. The book is at most all stores in paperback so it’s pretty cheap. It limits carbs and sugar. Which is a healthy way to live anyway. It uses a 3 Phase approach, Phase 1 is strict for 2 weeks only, Phase 2 you add back a lot of foods, you stay with this until you lose all your weight, Phase 3 is for the rest of your life. Those who haven’t kept it off, didn’t read the book and follow it. Good Luck!
Make sure you have a list of allowed foods. Breakfast protein not limited(see choices) Veggies min 1/2 c.
Lunch: Protein not limited Min 2 c veggies.
Dinner: protein not limited Veggies 2c min.
Snacks are required(love those cheese sticks and almonds!) Choose from Protein or vegetable or veggie list or eat nuts from the fats list,
I am really interested in starting this for the health benefits but I seem to be addicted to cooked, and overprocessed food. Does anyone know of any really good books about this with some recipes for me to get started with?
