The Indian Yellow-tailed Angel, or Cream Angel, is a smaller angel, reaching a max length of about six inches. Named for its bright yellow tail, the rest of is body can be various shades of cream, black, and grey depending on the specimen. Adults are typically darker than juveniles. Like most other angels, the Cream Angel needs a varied diet with both meaty foods, sponges and algae. Add with caution in reef systems, as they may nip at corals and other invertebrates.

The Indian Yellowtail Angel, or Cream Angel, is mostly white in color as a juvenile, with black fins edged in white. It has a yellow tail and a vertical black bar across each eye. As the fish matures, its body gradually darkens, leaving a less distinct white patch on each side. The diet of these angels generally consists of meaty foods, algaes and a large amount of marine sponge. Many frozen angel formulas and flakes may have extra sponge meal, and live sponges can be purchased to supplement their diet. These angels are not reef safe and have been known to nip at or eat some corals, sponges, and clam mantles. 204094
