My husband suffers from gout, high blood pressure and high cholesterol. He loves his sandwiches but I am running out of ideas to keep them interesting. He has to avoid cheese, processed meats, most fish except salmon and tuna, turkey and anything with a rich sauce. I would be really grateful if other people on a similar diet could share some of their ideas with me.

What Can You Eat On The Special K Diet Plan?
i know you have to eat like a bowl of cereal in the morning,
and some protein bar,
but what kind of snacks are there, etc.
and the is the protien water supposed to subsitute for a meal, or do you drink the water with the cereal/bar?
&&have any of you tried it and seen significant results?

How Can I Prepare To Be A Green Beret (united States Army Special Forces)? Workout Plan, Diet Etc?
I roughly want to know what would be a great workout plan, diet, and educational/academic values and possessions to have.

With The South Beach Diet, Are There Any Special Instructions For Diabetics?
I am not diabetic, but I started the SBD 10 days ago and I am very happy with the results already. I have lost 11 pounds, and I have lost my cravings for sugar, which was my weakness! I have also found that it is very easy to stick to and I haven’t been tempted to cheat at all.
My mom started on the same day as I did, but she in an insulin dependant diabetic. In the SBD book, it did not mention any special instructions for her (or least I did not notice any!) On day 6, she had a terrible low blood sugar which almost put her in the hospital. One friend recommended that she completely skip phase 1 of the diet. I was just wondering if this is good advice, and if there is anything else I can pass along to my mom.
